Our Mission
Japan is currently facing a shortage of inbound tour guides. To help bridge that gap, we’re working to train and support the next generation of guides.
Talent Acquisition
While Japan is often stereotyped as lacking English speakers, a shift is underway—especially among youth who are increasingly confident in using English. We’re tapping into that potential by connecting with future talent through social media and educational outreach, uncovering the next generation of tour guides.
Talent Development
Once we connect with aspiring tour guides, we conduct online interviews to assess their English skills and their knowledge of Japanese culture and history. But we don’t stop there — we also meet face-to-face, giving them the chance to reflect on what they need to grow. Through this process, they develop into confident, capable guides ready to represent Japan to the world.
Stepping into the Field as an Assistant
Once they’ve built a solid foundation in guiding skills and English, they step into the field as assistant guides—sharing key insights with guests and learning through real interactions. Gradually, they take on more speaking roles and gain the kind of on-the-ground knowledge that can only be learned through experience, steadily growing into full-fledged guides.
